#MythBuster: outdoor learning always needs greenspace

Not everyone has access to greenspace; we get it. In fact, for many greenspace can be a luxury, one that others might take for granted.

But we don’t believe that should stop anyone from getting outside.

Because outdoor learning does not have one fixed definition and it doesn’t need a connection to nature. You don’t need rivers, mighty trees and fruit orchards.

Outdoor learning can take place wherever you have space  – school grounds, local park, hotel grounds, beach, museum, a safe space in a car park, you name it! And that’s the beauty of it. You can take it wherever, whenever.

As a result, using more unusual spaces to carry out your outdoor learning can fuel creativity: it’s a fantastic way to think differently about your learning.

So step outside and offer something a little different. You won’t regret it!

Don’t forget to download and share our latest in the #MythBusters range. Together we can make 1 November’s Outdoor Classroom Day the biggest one yet!
