How-to video guides from Trees for Cities Edible Playgrounds

Many children in inner city areas don’t know where their food comes from. This is the challenge that Trees for Cities Edible Playgrounds campaign aims to address by teaching pupils about growing and eating healthy food.

Edible Playgrounds has recently added a series of video how-to guides to their resources for schools. All are free to access and could help you to create your own growing project.

Visit the Trees for Cities website to watch the short films which explain ‘sowing seeds in raised beds’, ‘sowing seeds for the greenhouse’, and ‘planting out seedlings’.  Accompanying the films are curriculum guides, lesson plans and a range of other resources to support you to teach through food growing.
