Lots of schools are signing up to Empty Classroom Day on Friday 17 June 2016 – have you?

18th May 2016

Lots of schools are signing up to Empty Classroom Day and preparing for a day of fun and learning outdoors. It’s a great idea to sign up now to give you time to plan and share your ideas.

Schools signed up so far have a variety of wonderful activities planned for the day, some as simple as a reading class outside for one lesson, while other schools are preparing for a whole day of activity. Totternhoe Lower School are organisation a maths trail in their local woodland, while Rattlesden Primary Academy are planning a picnic with parents, nature hunts and lots of muddy fun – let’s hope the weather’s nice!

To help make the day easier, we have a range of online resources available to inform and inspire you, including guidance, posters, fun lesson plans and missions to excite your children (and you).
