Thanks to our friends at Muddy Puddles, we are very excited to launch our #LetsGetMuddy competition!
We appreciate that not everyone wants to get outdoors when the British weather is living up to its stereotype. Cold, drizzly and blustery – it might not seem the recipe for an outdoor lesson.
However, we want to embrace outdoor learning and play – whatever the weather. We want to celebrate getting outside no matter what… mud and all.
We know that not all children have access to great outdoor wear. We are passionate about not letting this stand in the way of them connecting with the outdoors. Whilst this won’t kit out your whole class, it will help the pupils who don’t have their own wet weather gear.
This annual membership will help guide your outdoor learning, with specific outdoor lesson guides for primary and nursery. As a result, you’ll receive monthly activity sheets, seasonal certificates and a free raffle prize to use for school fundraisers and events.
All you have to do is show us how you get to grips with mud. And we mean in any shape and form. For example, a snapshot of your pupils gardening. Or perhaps it could be a puddle “splashathon”. Maybe your pupils have a worm farm they’re caring for.
The funner – and the muddier – the better.
It’s as easy as that!
The competition is open until October 31. The 5 winning entries will be announced November 14.
